Fall prevention training that starts with the path your patient walks.
Aides see the rug that slid, the dim hallway and the new shoes before anyone else does. We build short fall prevention modules from your policy so caregivers scan, fix what they can with permission, and report what they can’t, the same day.
We reply within one business day.
Falls are the leading cause of injury for adults age 65 and older, and over 14 million older adults, about 1 in 4, report falling each year (CDC).
Fall-hazard awareness maps to the federal home health aide training subject areas for a clean, safe and healthy environment and for safe transfer techniques and ambulation (42 CFR 484.80(b)(3)).

Our modules are designed to support these requirements. Your organization provides the supervision, keeps the records, and remains responsible for meeting them.
What aides see that nobody else does.
A nurse might visit once a week. An aide may be in the home every day, walking the same path to the bathroom that the patient walks at night. That makes aides the best early warning system an agency has, if they know what to look for and feel confident saying something.
Good fall prevention training respects the patient’s home and choices. It teaches aides to notice, to ask before moving anything, and to report a new hazard or a bit of dizziness to the nurse the same day.

Fall prevention training questions.
Does this replace a clinical fall risk assessment?
No. It supports aide observation and reporting. Your clinicians still complete the fall risk assessment under your policy.
Can it include our reporting form?
Yes. We build your exact reporting steps and form into the module so staff practice them.
Is there an assisted living version?
Yes. We can adapt the scenarios for assisted and senior living settings.
What about hands-on transfer skills?
Transfer skills are observed in person by your qualified staff. We supply a supervisor sign-off checklist to support that observation.
