Home health aide in-service: Under 42 CFR 484.80(d), home health aides must complete at least 12 hours of in-service training every 12 months, supervised by a registered nurse. In-service training may be offered by any organization. TPM modules can support that requirement. They don’t guarantee compliance: your agency provides the RN supervision, keeps the documentation, and remains responsible for meeting the requirement. Hands-on skills still need in-person competency evaluation.
