Training topics · Caregiver onboarding

Onboarding that gets new caregivers ready before their first visit.

When you’re hiring every week, orientation has to be consistent, welcoming and quick. We build a first-week path from your own policies, so every new caregiver learns the first five visits, who to call and what to report before they walk in the door.

We reply within one business day.

The context, with sources

Home care caregiver turnover was 75% in the 2025 Activated Insights Benchmarking Report. BLS projects about 760,500 openings per year for home health and personal care aides, on average, from 2025 to 2035.

For home health agencies, an aide may furnish services only after successfully completing a competency evaluation (42 CFR 484.80(c)). For skilled nursing clients, contracted staff are part of the facility’s training program (42 CFR 483.95).

Our modules are designed to support these requirements. Your organization provides the supervision, keeps the records, and remains responsible for meeting them.

The problem in the field

The first five visits, taught first.

New caregivers usually learn the most important things last: who to call when something feels wrong, what to report, and how to document it. Orientation often front-loads paperwork and leaves the practical questions for the first shift.

A short, warm onboarding path that starts with the first five visits helps new hires feel ready, and gives every recruiter and manager the same standard to point to.

How it works for caregiver onboarding

One standard for every new hire.

A welcome from your leader

With the leader presenter add-on, your owner or administrator can welcome new staff on screen without filming every module. Always disclosed as AI.

Who to call, what to report

Practice the calls and reports new caregivers worry about most, exactly as your policy describes them.

For staffing agencies

One consistent orientation standard for every placement, with per-facility versions when a client needs one.

What you receive

A short module path, a sign-off checklist and completion records, as web links and MP4s you own.

  • 2 to 3 scored decisions
  • Supervisor sign-off checklist
  • Completion record
  • Web link + MP4 you own

FAQ

Onboarding training questions.

Can our owner be the presenter without filming every module?

Yes, with the leader presenter add-on and their documented consent. The avatar is disclosed as AI, used only in your modules, and deleted when the project closes.

Can recruiters attach completion records to files?

Yes. Each module produces a printable completion record with the staff member’s name, date, module version and score.

Can it be customized per client facility?

Yes. Staffing agencies can have per-facility versions that add each client’s specific steps.

How fast can we roll it out?

A single pilot module is delivered in 10 business days once we have your complete source materials. Longer paths are built one module at a time, so the first can launch before the last is done.
